We are commanded to be baptized once we have believed. Believing in Jesus means we are spiritually born again, our old self dies and a new person is resurrected in Jesus' grace.

When we are publicly baptized we announce to the world the born again experience that has transpired in our heart as a result of believing in Jesus.

The story doesn't end with one singular act of believing. Next, Scripture commands us to put our Faith on display, through a public act of water baptism.

Yes, Jesus came to Earth and died on our behalf, but the most amazing part of the story is that he then resurrected on the third day. And the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, now lives in us if we believe!

We have been born again through our belief in Jesus' love for Humanity. We are baptized to symbolize the born again experience, the death of our old sinful self, and the resurrection we now have in the Gospel of Jesus' Grace.

Would you like to go public with your faith and be baptized? Scripture did not offer it as a suggestion, it is a command. We would love to participate in your baptism.

BELIEVE in JESUS

The Church is not commanded to only make converts who will believe, we are also commanded to make disciples. This means people who chose to believe must move forward in their faith to become disciples. What is a disciple? A disciple is one who has not only made a decision to follow Jesus, but is actually living out that decision, every day by obeying the teachings of the one they follow.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying... "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
