COLORFUL PRAYER ACTIVITY

We see in the story of Hezekiah that God really is a healer! Before God healed Hezekiah, Hezekiah prayer big prayers. He cried out to God for help. We need to do that every day too! 

Use the guide below to lead your kids in prayer. This activity is written for M&M’s but you could also use Skittles, Fruit Loops, or any colorful snack you have in the house!

GREEN - thank God for one good gift or thing in your life (family, love, health, home, safety, etc)

BLUE - pray for a friend or neighbor who needs help or who need to know Jesus

RED - pray for someone you love

YELLOW - pray for our leaders (church, school, government, sports, etc)

ORANGE - pray for those who are sick or hurt and needs healing

BROWN - pray for yourself (something you are sorry for, something that worries you, something that you need help with, etc)

Believe God will answer your prayers and even give you more than you could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Now, celebrate be eating the rest of your snack!
